About Us
Pantech got its start as the Asia-region distributor for AME Mattex Corporation, a building materials export company based in New York. From there, we grew to supply imported construction materials and equipment for projects both in Japan and around the world.
In 1995, we established our Japan-based entity, Pantech Corporation, Ltd. As a specialized trading company for imported building materials, our staff — well-versed in both U.S. and European standards — draw on decades of accumulated expertise to source outstanding products from across the globe.
In 1996, we became the official Japan distributor for GAYA, a long-established Spanish tile maker, bringing ISO-certified, world-class products to major hotels, commercial facilities, and private homes throughout and beyond Okinawa.
Today, as the official Japan distributor for eight Spanish manufacturers and one Portuguese manufacturer, we import and sell products from European makers recognized among the world’s best in both quality and design.
In 2025, we celebrated our 30th anniversary, and we remain committed to expanding our product lineup and strengthening our global supply network.
